Feeling The Winter Blues? Dance!

Given that winter started December 21st, we’re about 1.5 months in, which means grey clouds and a lack of vitamin D (what we get from the sun) is upon us. That combination is bound to make more than Seattle’s fair share of people feel a bit bummed out. And that’s okay. I’d even go so far as to say it’s normal.

There’s even some really great research on the subject. Here are two articles to check out if you’re interested (BMJ and Lancet). In sum, they both have a little good news/bad news. Bad news? Loneliness has a negative impact on your cardiovascular health. Good news? You can do something about it by taking dance lessons.
